(Best E Casino) - The disappointing
Chicago Bulls play the second of a six- game road trip tonight, as they visit the
Los Angeles Clippers at the Staples Center.
In 2006-07 the Clippers swept the season series, 2-0, from Chicago. The Bulls have lost six of their last seven at the Clippers.
Chicago opened the swing with a loss. On Thursday, Leandro Barbosa scored 25 points off the bench and Grant Hill netted a season-high 24 as the Phoenix Suns blew the game open late for a 112-102 victory over the slumping Bulls at US Airways Center.
The Bulls started their "Circus Road Trip" with another loss, the sixth in seven games this season. Chicago, which also visits both Los Angeles clubs, Denver, New York and Toronto on the trip, hasn't fared well on the traditional road trip with the circus stationed in the Windy City.
Ben Gordon scored a team-high 24 points in the loss for Chicago, while Luol Deng netted 23 in defeat. Kirk Hinrich scored 17 and handed out seven assists and Andres Nocioni, starting in place of Tyrus Thomas in an effort to shake things up, finished with 18 points and seven rebounds.
Chicago is 0-3 on the road this season.
The Clippers will open a brief two-game homestand this evening and have lost three of the last four games. They suffered a 122-105 loss to the previously- winless Golden State Warriors on Friday at ORACLE Arena, as Tim Thomas scored a season-high 25 points and had seven rebounds for the Clippers.
Corey Maggette scored 22 points and grabbed 12 boards, while Chris Kaman finished with 20 points and 12 boards in a losing cause.
Los Angeles will also host the Denver Nuggets on the short stand.
