Travis Outlaw scored 14 points and LaMarcus Aldridge added 12 for Portland, which lost its second straight game

Seattle pulled away early with an 8-0 run, capped by a Wilcox dunk to open the game. Portland did not score until the 7:41 mark and made just two buckets in the first nine minutes.

Seattle led 20-11 after the first quarter and 43-35 at the intermission after an evenly played second quarter.

The Sonics used a 17-4 run, started by an Allen triple, to open a 64-43 lead with 4:48 left in the third period. Portland never threatened thereafter.

Allen and Lewis put on a show scoring 20 of the Sonics 30 points in the third quarter.
