| Montreal, QC (Best E Casino) - Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Bryan McCabe returned to the lineup on Thursday after missing the last 22 games with a broken left hand. The injury occurred during Toronto's 4-1 loss at Montreal on December 15 when Montreal rookie Sergei Kostitsyn slammed hard into McCabe along the boards. McCabe laid on the ice, grimacing in pain before skating to the locker room, where he was examined by the medical staff. In 27 games this season, McCabe has registered four goals and 12 points. |

He ranks third on the Marlies this season with 33 points in 44 games, having posted 11 goals and 22 assists. The native of Chicago was the 2006 NCAA Frozen Four MVP with Wisconsin and was Toronto's fourth pick of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.
