NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -Tennessee quarterback Vince Young took part in most of practice Friday, but will be a game-time decision for the Titans' playoff game Sunday against the San Diego Chargers. Coach Jeff Fisher said Young was better but did not go full speed with his sore right quadriceps. ``I did say early he's a quick healer,'' Fisher said of his quarterback. ``He's been that way. He can overcome some difficult things rather quickly, so we're very optimistic at this point.'' But the Titans still wil |

SAN DIEGO (AP) -The San Diego Chargers received a 24-hour extension from the NFL in an attempt to sell the final 500 tickets for Sunday's playoff game against Tennessee and lift the local TV blackout. The Chargers have until 1:30 p.m. Friday to sell the remaining tickets. Chargers COO Jim Steeg said he was surprised the game hadn't yet sold out, since every regular-season game did. He said a number of factors were involved, including the holidays and the fact that the Chargers were 7-5 when ticket invoices |

SAN DIEGO (AP) -Stan Humphries will be watching on TV from his Louisiana home Sunday, wondering the same thing everybody else will be: Is this the year the San Diego Chargers finally win a playoff game? Humphries guided the Chargers to a stunning upset of the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC championship game 13 years ago, and it's been all downhill ever since for the Bolts in the postseason. | (Best E Casino) - The Tennessee Titans will be one of the teams on the Qualcomm Stadium field for an AFC First-Round playoff contest Sunday afternoon, though this game will be about the host San Diego Chargers, first and foremost. Four weeks ago, the San Diego Chargers' Pro Bowl outside linebacker accused the Tennessee Titans of a cheap shot that left him hobbling off the field during an overly physical game. Now, with the Titans coming to town for a wild-card playoff game on Sunday, Merriman's message is - uh, never mind. ``I think the situation of the things happening before was really blown out of proportion, really'' Merriman said Wednesday, when the AFC West c |
