| Houston Rockets' Shane Battier bruised his foot in the first quarter of the team's 103-80 victory over the Seattle SuperSonics. The forward sat out the rest of the first half and tried to play again in the second half. Battier was removed from the game permanently with 4:47 left in the third with a bruised left foot/ankle.
