Phils aim to continue offensive prowess in finale with Rockies MLB Baseball 05/28/2008
(Best E Casino) - Philadelphia Phillies starter Adam Eaton can only hope he receives the same kind of run support his fellow pitchers have been getting when he toes the rubber tonight in the finale of a three-game series versus the Colorado Rockies at Citizens Bank Park. Philadelphia started its scoring barrage with a 15-6 rout of Houston in Sunday's finale of a four-game series at Minute Maid Park. It then opened this series with an impressive 20-5 drubbing of Colorado, fueled by a 19-hit attack, before simmering

Philadelphia, PA (Best E Casino) - Greg Dobbs and Pedro Feliz each had a pair of RBI as the Philadelphia Phillies continued to pound out the runs in a 7-4 win over the Colorado Rockies in the second of a three-game set at Citizens Bank Park. The Phillies offense has been on a torrid pace in the past three games. The club has pounded out 42 runs over the past three contests, which is just two off the club record that was set in 1900. ``Another step forward,'' Posada said. ``Get some at-bats, and now have a day off tomorrow and get ready to throw Thursday. It's just a matter of getting ready to play games.''

Four of Posada's at-bats came against injured Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Kris Benson, who has a strained groin. Posada went 2-for-4 with a double that went off the right-field fence.

``He was around the plate, and you get some at-bats,'' Posada said of facing a major league pitcher.

, the National League Central has become an interesting race with the Astros, Cardinals and Cubs all enjoying solid starts to their seasons. Houston did, however, just wrap up its seven-game homestand with a dud, a 15-6 thrashing at the hands of the Philadelphia Phillies. Following the lopsided loss, Miguel Tejada offered to keep things in perspective. "(Sunday) was a rough day," he said on the team's Web site. "You don't see many days like (this). But we're still fine. We're going to lose some games, and we're goin
