| (Best E Casino) - The heavy-hitting bats of the Philadelphia Phillies aren't going to get outworked too often this year. Yet, in a recent series with the National League East-rival Florida Marlins, that is just what happened. Only one team in the majors has gone deep more times than the Phillies this year and that club is the Marlins, who have 101 homers heading into play on Friday to Philadelphia's 95. The two division rivals met in Florida for a three-game set beginning on Tuesday, and the Phils left town having |

MIAMI (AP) -Dan Uggla knows where his first game-ending home run ball is going: He's starting a personal trophy case. The Florida Marlins second baseman hit a one-out grand slam into the left-field seats Wednesday night to beat the Philadelphia Phillies 6-2. The ball was given to him after the game by Marlins owner Jeffrey Loria, and Uggla walked out of the ballpark holding it in his left hand. Needing a place to store the souvenir, Uggla decided it's time for an official home to his personal memorabilia. ` |
