| (Best E Casino) - The Ottawa Senators will try to build on an impressive first-half of the season tonight, when they emerge from the All-Star break to visit the New York Islanders at Nassau Coliseum. The Senators were the best team in the Eastern Conference in the first half, as they headed into the break with 66 points. However, Ottawa had dropped five of seven before the All-Star Game and is now just six points ahead of Montreal for the conference and Northeast Division lead. Ottawa was able to halt a thre |

Just ask the Buffalo Sabres, who stormed through the Eastern Conference a year ago but were knocked out in the semifinals by the Ottawa Senators. ``Being first in your conference and playing the eighth seed, you have nothing to win really,'' Senators captain Daniel Alfredsson said. ``If you lose in the first round, you're a dog. | (Best E Casino) - Earlier this season it seemed that nobody in the East would be able to catch up to the Ottawa Senators, but the Montreal Canadiens have changed that notion considerably. The Canadiens are 7-2-1 so far in January and have taken advantage of Ottawa's slump, which seems to have been brought on by the absence of top-line winger Dany Heatley. Montreal heads into the All-Star break trailing the Senators by just six points for the leads in the Northeast Division and Eastern Conference. Montreal ha |

| (Best E Casino) - The Ottawa Senators have the most-feared line in the NHL at their disposal, but sometimes that can be both a blessing and a curse. The Senators top unit of Daniel Alfredsson, Jason Spezza and Dany Heatley has been the best line in the league since the start of last year's playoffs. However, the line is so important to the team's success that if one piece of the puzzle gets hurt it has a negative effect on the club. For example, Heatley went down with a separated right shoulder on January 12 |
