Martinez was scratched after an MRI revealed inflammation in the hip. However, he still hopes to pitch the series finale on Sunday at Shea Stadium. | Flushing, NY (Best E Casino) - The New York Mets activated Kaz Ishii from the 15-day disabled list and the lefthander tossed 6 1/3 solid innings in a 2-1 win over the Cincinnati Reds on Tuesday night. Ishii, who got a no-decision, allowed just one run on three hits, striking out two and walking two. He also had a career-high two hits at the plate.
