NEW YORK (AP) -One day after coming off the disabled list, a despondent Moises Alou was out of the New York Mets' lineup again Wednesday night against Arizona because his left calf is still bothering him.

The oft-injured Alou returned Tuesday from a strained left calf that kept him out of the lineup for 19 days. He went 1-for-2 with a two-run single on the first pitch he saw, but his calf stiffened up as the game progressed and he came out after a 61-minute rain delay before the seventh inning.

Control has been a growing concern since the start of the 2006 campaign when he was in his final season with the New York Mets. Despite having a .500 record (24-24) over the term, Trachsel has found it more and more difficult to take care of batters on his own, logging just 151 strikeouts in 362 1/3 innings, compared to 181 walks. Flushing, NY (Best E Casino) - The New York Mets have placed outfielder Ryan Church on the 15-day disabled list because of post-concussion syndrome. The move is retroactive to June 6, although Church has been suffering the effects of a concussion since May 20 when he took a knee to the head while trying to break up a double play in a game against Atlanta.
