Per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed. A 10-year veteran, Fabini joined the Redskins in March 2007 and started 13 games at right guard after Randy Thomas and Jon Jansen went down with injuries early in the season. Fabini played his first eight seasons with the New York Jets before spending the 2006 season with the Dallas Cowboys. |

Newsday reported on its website Saturday that Faneca, who has spent all his 10 years in the NFL playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Jets have come to terms on a five-year contract for $40 million, with $21 million in guaranteed money.
