The 34-year-old, who was acquired in a trade from the New York Jets in 2006, has registered 58 1/2 sacks during his tenure in Atlanta. He had 9 1/2 sacks last season. |

Pool, 27, played his first five years of his career with the Cleveland Browns before joining the New York Jets as a free agent in 2010. Last season, he saw action in 14 games with the Jets, starting six. The Oklahoma product was a 2005 second-round pick and has recorded 365 tackles, 13 interceptions and 5 1/2 sacks in 100 career games, 67 of which he has started. |

Thomas signed after the NFL's free agent period started at 4 p.m. Tuesday. He was injured in the first quarter of an October 2 game in Baltimore, the first time since the Jets drafted him No. 22 overall in 2002 that he played fewer than 14 games in a season. Thomas has 418 tackles and 31 sacks in 145 NFL games, all with the Jets. |

The 33-year-old Utah product has spent his entire seven-year career with the Jets and has not missed a game since the 2007 season. He has started all but four games over the past three years and in 2011 posted 58 tackles to go with one sack and two fumble recoveries. |
