| (Best E Casino) - The Indiana Pacers will be out to halt a string of nine straight road losses in tonight's clash with a hapless New Jersey Nets team trying to break out of a six-game losing streak. Indiana hasn't won in an opposing venue since a 114-113 decision at Washington on December 12, but will be entering the IZOD Center tonight off back-to-back home victories over Toronto and Phoenix. On Wednesday, Danny Granger poured in a game-high 33 points and Mike Dunleavy added 30 off the bench to lead the Pac |

Most recently, with Pierce and Rondo healthy again, the Celtics got back to their winning ways by dispensing of the NBA's worst team, the New Jersey Nets, on Wednesday. Pierce scored 24 points and grabbed six rebounds in that one as Boston raced out to an enormous lead early and cruised past the lowly Nets, 111-87, at IZOD Center. Joe Johnson poured in 36 points on 14-of-25 shooting in that one as the Hawks logged their third win in as many tries this season against Boston. R |

There are conflicting reports about what happened between the two players, but their dispute began during a card game on a trip home from the West Coast two days earlier. | (Best E Casino) - The hapless New Jersey Nets have to start looking at some rather dubious NBA history that is quickly approaching in the rearview mirror. At 3-33 on the season, New Jersey seems to have an excellent shot at the NBA's worst all-time record as they conclude another disastrous road trip in San Antonio on Sunday. The 1972-73 Philadelphia 76ers finished 9-73 to set the NBA' futility mark and if the Nets play as badly in the next 36 games as they did it their first 36, we could be on the verge of |
