| Montreal, Quebec (Best E Casino) - The Montreal Canadiens try to halt a seven-game winless slide tonight when they welcome the New York Rangers to the Bell Centre. Montreal hasn't played on its home ice since December 21, and is 0-4-1-2 since then. On Tuesday the road set mercifully came to an end in the form of a 3-2 loss to New Jersey. Stephane Quintal and Marcel Hossa scored to provide a 2-1 second-period lead for the Habs, but the Devils' Joe Nieuwendyk tallied twice in the third to provide the difference. |
