MILWAUKEE (AP) -Milwaukee Bucks forward Desmond Mason was scheduled to have surgery Saturday to repair a torn ligament in his left thumb.

Mason, injured Wednesday night against Sacramento, is expected to miss six to eight weeks, general manager Larry Harris said Friday.
