Los Angeles, CA (Best E Casino) - Chris Bosh grabbed nine rebounds -- and in the process became Toronto's all-time leading rebounder -- to go along with 24 points, as Toronto began its season-long seven-game road trip with a 80-77 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers at Staples Center. "We feel pretty fortunate to get the win. Our defense kept us in it," said Bosh. Jamario Moon tied a career high with 16 points to go along with five boards and Jose Calderon added 12 points, six rebounds and a game-best nine assists for Toronto, winners in five of six overall. Corey Maggette scored a team-high 22 points and Richie Frahm added 13 for the Clippers, losers in two straight and six in a row at home. Chris Kaman notched a double-double with 12 points and 16 rebounds, leading to Los Angeles' 50-43 edge on the boards. "We played good defense, unfortunately our shooting was a problem," said Kaman. After the Clippers had control 49-41 at the half, Toronto flipped momentum with a huge edge in the third. Los Angeles tallied just one field goal over the final 6:30 of the third stanza as Toronto turned a 56-51 deficit into a 65-60 edge with a 14-4 spurt. Bosh and Moon started the stretch with easy layups and Carlos Delfino ended the scoring with a three-pointer with 56 ticks on the clock. The Clippers turned to Frahm for some instant offense in the late stages of the contest. Trailing 77-70, Frahm buried a trey with 1:25 to play and cut the deficit to two points on a jump shot with 26 seconds to go. Calderon iced the contest on a driving layup as the shot clock ticked down with nine seconds to play.
