Thomas, who missed Wednesday's game at Boston because of back pain, started Friday and played all 12 minutes of the first quarter, but did not come out for the second and was not expected to return. Thomas finished with three points, shooting 1-for-4. He is averaging 13.2 points and 5.1 rebounds this season.
