SAN DIEGO (AP) - Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Trent Green said there was no doubt he would play against the Chargers on Sunday, three days after his father died.

Green said he spoke with his family about playing, ``and there was no hesitation on anyone's part, because that's what he would have wanted,'' Green said after the Chiefs lost, 28-20.

Green's father, Jim, 58, died Thursday of an undisclosed cause.

``He supported me and had been to every game when he could,'' Green said. ``I know he loved footb

ing about playing a must-win game even though they're heading into the season's midpoint.

``There's definitely a sense of urgency because we understand the situation we're in,'' quarterback Drew Brees said going into Sunday's home game against the Kansas City Chiefs. ``Hey, it's 3-4 and we cannot afford to go out and blow another opportunity like we have.''

The Chargers have lost as many games this year as they did all of last season, when they were 12-4, and it's because they've been unable to seal the deal

short amount of time for ticket sales.

The Saints' second game in San Antonio was a sellout, but was not televised there because the Fox network affiliate chose the Dallas Cowboys-New York Giants game instead.

Last Sunday's scheduled game of the Kansas City Chiefs at Miami was moved up two days because of the approaching Hurricane Wilma. That game was not a sellout, but was shown locally in south Florida.Copyright © 2005 The Associated Press. All rights reserved. The information contained in the AP News

(Best E Casino) - Miami Dolphins strong safety Tebucky Jones has been placed on injured reserve, ending his season. The Dolphins made several other moves on Tuesday, signing fullback Darian Barnes and safety Norman LeJeune. To make room on the 53-man roster for the two players, they also waived fullback Heath Evans. The 31-year-old Jones was

Chiefs touch down in Miami NFL Football 10/25/2005
(Best E Casino) - The Kansas City Chiefs had a brief layover in Miami on Friday and decided to use the time to pick up a big road win over the Dolphins. With the arrival of Hurricane Wilma imminent, the NFL moved the Chiefs/Dolphins game in South Florida from Sunday to Friday. As a result, the Chiefs flew into Miami Friday afternoon and left town shortly after their 30-20 victory at Dolphins Stadium. That feeling is long gone thanks to a three-game losing streak that included Friday's 30-20 setback to the Kansas City Chiefs. The game was moved up two days to allow south Florida residents time to prepare for Hurricane Wilma, but it apparently did not give the Dolphins ample time to gear up for the Kansas City ground game.
