| Houston, TX (Best E Casino) - The Houston Texans have re-signed tight end Mark Bruener and safety Glenn Earl, the team announced Monday. Bruener appeared in 14 games with the Texans in 2007, but served exclusively as a blocking tight end and on special teams and did not record a catch. The 13-year veteran played the first nine years of his career with Pittsburgh before signing with Houston in 2004, and has posted 152 catches for 1,333 yards and 18 touchdowns in 186 games. He spent the past two seasons with the Houston Texans and appeared in 22 games, recording 19 catches for 164 yards and a touchdown. Putzier, who played four seasons with the Denver Broncos after being selected in the sixth round (191st overall) of the 2002 NFL Draft, has played in 61 games registering 96 receptions for 1,251 yards and three touchdowns. |

Reeves had spent all four of his NFL seasons with the Cowboys, where he played in 60 games and totaled 106 tackles along with 19 passes defended and one interception. Last season he played in 16 games (13 starts), recorded 60 tackles (52 solo) and had one interception. |

The team did not release details of the deal but the Houston Chronicle reported that Davis inked a four-year contract worth $16 million.
