Houston, TX (Best E Casino) - The Houston Texans have re-signed tight end Mark Bruener and safety Glenn Earl, the team announced Monday. Bruener appeared in 14 games with the Texans in 2007, but served exclusively as a blocking tight end and on special teams and did not record a catch. The 13-year veteran played the first nine years of his career with Pittsburgh before signing with Houston in 2004, and has posted 152 catches for 1,333 yards and 18 touchdowns in 186 games. Kirkland, WA (Best E Casino) - The Seattle Seahawks signed tight end Jeb Putzier to a one-year contract on Tuesday. He spent the past two seasons with the Houston Texans and appeared in 22 games, recording 19 catches for 164 yards and a touchdown. Putzier, who played four seasons with the Denver Broncos after being selected in the sixth round (191st overall) of the 2002 NFL Draft, has played in 61 games registering 96 receptions for 1,251 yards and three touchdowns.

Reeves had spent all four of his NFL seasons with the Cowboys, where he played in 60 games and totaled 106 tackles along with 19 passes defended and one interception. The team did not release details of the deal but the Houston Chronicle reported that Davis inked a four-year contract worth $16 million. HOUSTON (AP) -Houston Texans receiver and kick returner Jerome Mathis was arrested and charged with choking his pregnant common-law wife.

Deputies went to Mathis's home Friday in Manvel, about 25 miles south of Houston, after getting a 911 call. Erica Smith told deputies the player had pushed her onto a bed and started choking her. The 26-year-old woman refused medical treatment but said she is six months pregnant.
