=== Seahawks pound Houston in flag-filled affair === By Kevin Currie, NFL Analyst (Best E Casino) - In the first meeting between the Seattle Seahawks and Houston Texans, the officials controlled much of the action, especially early on. By the time two official plays were run, there were already five flags thrown by the game officials. Seattle head coach Mike Holmgren was so infuriated with his defense that he took a time out less than two minutes into the contest. There were two penalties on the Texans' Che

Houston, TX (Best E Casino) - Houston Texans linebacker Kailee Wong tore the patella tendon in his knee and will miss the remainder of the 2005 season. Wong was injured early in the first quarter of the team's Sunday night loss at Seattle and never returned. Head coach Dom Capers understands the impact of Wong's injury on a defense that relies on his vocal leadership. "Kailee Wong played only seven plays and as you know Kailee is the quarterback of our defense," explained Capers. "He's our signal-caller and

Although Wong is the only player with a season-ending injury, receiver Andre Johnson, defensive end Gary Walker, guard Zach Wiegert and strong safety C.C. Brown are also injured.

SEATTLE (AP) - Already depleted by injuries, the Houston Texans lost starting linebacker Kailee Wong to a possible season-ending knee injury in Sunday night's 42-10 loss to Seattle.

Wong suffered what coach Dom Capers believes is a torn patella tendon in his right knee. Wong was carted off the field after a 21-yard run by Seattle's Shaun Alexander in the first quarter.

Wong was being blocked by Steve Hutchinson, who fell on the seven year veteran. He was replaced by DaShon Polk, who had six tackles.
