The surgery was performed at Rose Hospital by Dr. Hal Crane of Orthopedic Associates and lasted more than two hours. DENVER (AP) -The Denver Nuggets say coach George Karl has undergone left hip replacement surgery. The team says the operation Tuesday lasted two hours. DENVER (AP) -Mike Dunlap is leaving his job as a Denver Nuggets assistant coach to serve on Lute Olson's staff at the University of Arizona. Dunlap served on coach George Karl's staff the last two seasons after a highly successful stint at Metro State College of Denver.
