| Frisco, TX (Best E Casino) - The Dallas Stars announced Thursday that defenseman Sergei Zubov will be sidelined for four weeks after undergoing an arthroscopic procedure on his hip. Injuries limited the 38-year-old Zubov to only 46 games last year. He registered four goals and 31 assists with a plus-six rating. Additionally, the club announced that rearguard Philippe Boucher is day-to-day with a sore foot. Boucher, 35, had two goals and 14 points in 38 games last season for Dallas. |

| nseman Erik Johnson will be sidelined for the first three days of training camp after injuring his right knee in a non-hockey related incident. Johnson, 20, will be re-evaluated over the weekend and his status will be updated prior to Tuesday's preseason game against the Dallas Stars. The first overall pick in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft, Johnson enjoyed a solid rookie campaign in 2007-08, registering five goals and 33 points in 69 games for the Blues, who went 33-36-13 to finish last in the Central Division. |

Downey signed with Detroit last season following a training camp tryout and appeared in 56 games for the Red Wings, registering three assists and 116 penalty minutes. Bouck, 28, logged 11 goals, 18 assists and 86 penalty minutes in 79 games while servicing as the captain of the Portland Pirates (AHL) last season.
