The Rockies will receive two draft picks should Fuentes decline arbitration and sign elsewhere. Fuentes has until midnight (et) Sunday to accept or decline arbitration. The Rockies career saves leader finished with 30 saves in 34 opportunities with a 2.73 earned run average over 67 games last season. Fuentes has 115 career saves, all during his seven seasons with Colorado. |

| Denver, CO (Best E Casino) - Don Baylor, the first manager of the Colorado Rockies, returned to the team on Monday as he was named hitting coach for the 2009 season. The 59-year-old Baylor was manager of the Rockies from 1993-96 and for the Chicago Cubs from 2000-02. He was also with the Mets as a bench coach (2003-04) and as a hitting coach. | Denver, CO (Best E Casino) - Colorado Rockies pitcher Luis Vizcaino reportedly was arrested in Tampa, Florida, early Monday morning for driving under the influence. According to the Rocky Mountain News, Vizcaino was driving 71 mph when he was stopped by police. An officer noticed that the 34-year-old reliever had glassy eyes and smelled of alcohol.
