CLEVELAND (AP) -A person familiar with the agreement says the Cleveland Browns have come to terms on a multiyear contract with rookie quarterback Colt McCoy. McCoy is expected to report with Cleveland's other first-year players to training camp on Friday, said the person who spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the team has not yet announced McCoy's agreement. The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports McCoy and the team's other third-round selection, guard Shawn Lauvao, both came to terms on four-year deals Thursday. Bentley filed his civil suit in the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas on Thursday, and the case has been assigned to Judge Joseph D. Russo.
