| Lake Forest, IL (Best E Casino) - The Chicago Bears announced Monday that restricted free agent linebacker Nick Roach has signed his one-year tender offer. Financial terms were not disclosed. Roach started 15 of the 16 games he played in 2009 and established career highs with 82 tackles, two sacks, three forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. He added nine special teams tackles. In 33 games over three seasons, all with the Bears, Roach has 122 tackles. |

Tinoisamoa signed with the Bears before the 2009 season, starting in two games and tallying five tackles and one forced fumble. Brown appeared in 127 games, including 107 starts, for the Bears, who selected him with a fourth-round pick in the 2002 NFL Draft. The 30-year-old Florida product recorded 483 tackles and 43 1/2 sacks with five interceptions, 16 forced fumbles and 11 fumble recoveries for Chicago. He also blocked three kicks. |

SAN DIEGO (AP) -Chicago Bears offensive lineman Lance Louis has been sentenced to 40 hours of community service and anger management classes for an altercation that happened while he was playing at San Diego State. Louis was also sentenced to three years of informal probation and a $565 fine as part of his plea deal with the San Diego City Attorney's Office after pleading guilty Friday to misdemeanor assault. Authorities say Louis assaulted SDSU teammate Nick Sandford in a team meeting room last fall. |
