Spencer sustained the injury late in the first quarter, and was replaced by Lance Louis, but he returned to play the entire second half. Hester returned a Jason Baker punt 69 yards for a score in the second quarter of Sunday's contest against the Carolina Panthers, giving him 11 such returns for scores. It snapped the previous record of 10, held by Eric Metcalf. Hester also holds the record for combined touchdowns on kick returns with 15. |
