| Pittsburgh, PA (Best E Casino) - Boston Bruins defenseman Aaron Ward injured his neck early in the second period of Wednesday's 2-1 victory over Pittsburgh. The injury occurred when Ward was struck in the neck by either the forearm or stick of Pittsburgh defenseman Sergei Gonchar.
