Dupuis came to Pittsburgh, along with forward Marian Hossa, in a deadline trade from the Atlanta Thrashers in February and posted two goals with 10 assists in 16 games after the deal. Hedberg, 35, played in 36 games for the Thrashers last season, posting a 14-15-3 record, a 3.46 goals-against average and one shutout.
