Johnson finished his 21st season with an 11-10 record, a 3.91 earned-run average and 173 strikeouts in 184 innings over 30 starts for Arizona. His final victory of the season also left the fearsome southpaw five shy of 300 career wins. | Phoenix, AZ (Best E Casino) - The Arizona Diamondbacks have exercised the 2010 contract option on pitcher Jon Rauch, the club announced Friday. Rauch, who was acquired by Arizona in a July 22 trade with Washington, posted a 4-8 record with a 4.14 ERA and 18 saves in 74 appearances. The 30-year-old right-hander is a career 24-23 with a 3.83 ERA and 24 saves in 281 games (11 starts) with the White Sox, Montreal/Washington and Diamondbacks. |
